MICHIGAN HERE WE COME
We just found out today that we are moving to Clinton Township, Michigan. After many hours of deliberating we have decided that Steve's needs would be met better in Michigan than trying to stay in Iowa. So sometime during our busy summer of boards, Bubba returning from mission, 1o year high school reunion and my parents 50th wedding anniversary, we now get to squeeze in moving. We think Steve will have better opportunities in Michigan and more time with the family. It is a bittersweet situation. We love Iowa and all of our really close friends and leaving them will be the hardest part for me. I hope you all don't for get us!

Prayer Time
She is such a goof ball. Karlee thinks everything needs to be blessed. Which I am happy she learned at such a young age. She constantly goes around the house saying prayers. She'll be playing with toys and all of the sudden stop, fold her arms, gibber-gabber a little something and then throw her arms in the air and continue her business. Today, I just happened to have the camera close by and caught her just as she was finishing up. I guess she thinks we need LOTS of help. Ha Ha Ha! I don't mind, I need all of the help I can get!
DaDDy TiMe
Cannon and Karlee love when daddy comes home. They both tackle him and run him to the ground. They love taking turns riding on his back and being tossed into the couch with all of the cushions. Steve is such a good daddy. He has such a good time whinding up the kids just before bedtime. I am so happy to have such a good husband who loves nothing more than getting on the ground and playing with his kids.

Steve's school had a formal dance at the Iowa Civic Center. The Winter Gala was really fun. A group of our friends went out to eat and then we went to the dance for desserts. Everything was really fancy. They had a live band and a lots of food. I finally found a plain black dress to wear. I didn't realize how hard it would be to find a modest formal gown outside of Utah or Idaho. I went to many formal stores out here and they had absolutely nothing to chose from. It was very discouraging, but JCPenny had a cute simple black dress that worked.
